I Taught in High Point This Past Thursday!!

So I'm still getting used to having the blog going. I was supposed to have this posted the day of. I taught in High Point at Fogarty's Music last Thursday. I taught some blues. We went over Red House by Jimmy Hendrix. I taught some pentatonic scale, and we talked about the application of it.

I taught a Five Nights of Freddy song. We worked on pick control and rhythm. We had already gotten the order of the notes correct, but were struggling in delivering it smoothly. We took out a lot of notes and just played the first couple notes as anchors and focused on the measure phrasing.
